Professional & Continuing Studies delivers projects that support community diversification and capacity-building through hands-on, in-community training, economic opportunity identification and assessment, and applied research. Our focus is on the sustainable use of natural resources for community benefits with specific expertise in the areas of non-timber forest products (NTFPs) and native plant propagation. We work within BC, across Canada, and internationally.
We take a collaborative approach to projects, and work closely with communities, governments at all levels (First Nations, federal, provincial, regional), the private sector, non-governmental organizations and others to identify key needs and opportunities and carry them through to implementation.
